Gem Farm was established in 2020 with a mission to be pioneers in identifying and developing the best goat breeds that are suitable for the conditions prevalent in Kerala. We hope to create processes, practices, and tools that will help optimize the profit margin while managing the financial and operational risks inherent in goat farming. We are engaged in breeding the very native breed of God’s own country the Malabari or otherwise called Thalacheri goats.
Goats are raised principally for their milk, fibre and skin. Goat farming can be very suited to production with other livestock such as sheep and cattle on low-quality grazing land.
